Promotes Sri Lanka as a destination through the 2026 Calendar in Beijing

The Embassy designed and distributed calendars for the year 2026, promoting Sri Lanka as a tourism destination in China.

The calendar's design entails visual illustration of a glimpse of cultural and bio-diversity, scenic beauty, spectacular and incredible fertile and bountiful Sri Lanka’s vegetation and landscapes, touching upon 8 themes of Sri Lanka tourism namely Bliss, Essence, Festive, Heritage, Wild, Pristine, Scenic and Thrills. World-renowned Ceylon tea and much sought after Ceylon sapphires also featured in the calendar. 

This initiative received wide publicity in the print and electronic media in China.
