Ambassador Majintha Jayesinghe together with Deputy Chief of Mission,  Poornima Gunasekera and Counselllor, Sumudu Wilpatha on 21st November 2024 held in Sinopec Management Institute in Beijing, China. During the launch, the Ambassador met with Mr. Li Xiqing, Vice President, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union of Sinopec Management Institute and discussed the cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector. The programme has been organized to enhance the skills of Sri Lankan professionals in advancing the industry standards and workforce expertise. 17 professionals from SINOPEC-Sri Lanka attended the Talent Growth Programme.
